1 Corinthians 6

1Does any of you dare, if you have a dispute against another, to go to law before the ungodly, instead of before the saints? 2Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3Do you not know that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life? 4If then you have such disputes, set them before those who are least esteemed in the church. 5I speak this to your shame. Can it be that there is not a wise man among you who shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6But brother goes to law against brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7Now, it is utterly a defeat for you that you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather suffer the wrong? why do you not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded? 8Instead, you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and you do this to your brethren. 9Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexual offenders, 10Nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 12All things are lawful for me, but all things are not beneficial: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything. 13Food is for the belly, and the belly for food: but God shall destroy both of them. The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14And God has raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his power. 15Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a prostitute? Never. 16Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? for the two, he says, shall become one flesh. 17But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. 18Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside his body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? 20For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
